Map 1
Ireland
A grassy, mountainous arena with a wooden fence line and a small barn. You open against 54 other sheep. It is the teaching map because the hills make cause and effect obvious: above someone is a hit, below someone is a problem.

The first five minutes
Do not dive the pile. A lot of Ireland’s opening eliminations happen without you: sheep charging downhill collide with each other and with fences while you are still learning the camera. Hang back on a ridge, watch which numbers are already off-balance, then take the downhill line into one of those.
The barn and fence are landmarks, not cover. They kill you the same way a knockdown does. Use them to finish a sheep you have already stood up, not as a place to hide.
Why height matters more here
Ireland’s rolling ground builds speed for you if you start high. A sheep that looks close on flat ground is often still above you on the next fold. Walk the contour until you own the ridge, then charge. The same idea returns on later maps, but Ireland is where you can see it.
Momentum rules are on Physics. After a win, the next arena is Egypt.
